2017 Tesla Model 3 Officially Announced for $35,000

In an event in Hawthorne, California, Elon Musk CEO of Telsa Motors unveiled their latest innovation in the automobile field – The Telsa Model 3. The Model 3 is Telsa's first electric car for the masses. According to Elon Musk, the Model 3 will start from a very affordable $35,000, feature top of the class safety features and deliver around 215 miles (346 kilometers) per charge. The Model 3 can go from zero to 60 mph (97 kmph) in less than six seconds, Telsa has successfully backed this claim by offering test drives on long highways. 2017 Tesla Model 3 On the inside, the car will come equipped with a huge 15 inch touchscreen, standard autopilot, comfortable seating for five adults, top of the class safety features, and both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive variants. While on the outside, the car is sleek, aesthetic and has complete glass roof. The car can be booked at a price of $1000, and has received over 115,000 pre-orders (still rising). It will begin production by late 2017. Telsa plans to double its dealerships, and drastically increase the number of public charging stations in the coming years. When released, the Model 3 will compete with Chevrolet Bolt. Elon Musk is all praise for the Model 3 electric car feels that this is very critical to the success of Telsa and the future of electric vehicles.
