    Sony has announced the launch of its latest netbook, VAIO W Series in order to make its presence in the netbook market. Mukesh Srivastava, Product Manager - VAIO, Sony India said, "The share of netbook in the global PC market is around eight percent and we want to capture at least two percent of the market through this new product". The netbook will be launched globally on August 17 with the pre-booking in India starting from August 6.
