Darsheel’s Rs 75 lakh pay packet

Ever since child star Darsheel Safary became the youngest star of Bollywood to get nominated for a Best Actor Award, there has been much speculation about which film he would do next. What’s more, his going price is apparently Rs 75 lakh! After the release of Taare Zameen Par, Darsheel’s parents were very sure that the boy would concentrate on his studies and go back to his normal life. But then the offers got more and more lucrative.

And one tempting offer came to work with Sanjay Dutt. To be produced by Suniel Shetty’s Popkorn Entertainment, the film proposes to bring Sanjay and Darsheel together in the film titled Dedh. The comedy is to be directed by Ashwani Dhir, who made One Two Three.
“Sanjay has been finalised for the project. We need to work out the dates. As for the boy, yes we do want Darsheel and are trying to rope him in,” said Dhir.
