Sonam’s perfectionist streak

Sonam Kapoor’s Saawariya may have not done well at the box office but the actress is all charged up about Rakeysh Mehra’s Dilli 6. Unit sources say that the actress used to be so worried about her looks and her scenes that she kept going to Rakeysh with questions like whether she looked right for the scene or if her hair was ok or whether she gave a good take. She was paranoid about the fact that no one bothered about her looks.

The director didn’t realise that Sonam had worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and she was used to taking instructions from him about every little thing. Every detail used to be worked out by the director.  It was cinematographer Binod Pradhan who realised Sonam Kapoor predicament since he had worked with Bhansali. He started giving her instructions and helping her with the minute details. After a few days, even the cinematographer got fed up with Sonam as she went to him every five minutes. Rakeysh came to know about Sonam’s problem when Binod finally told him. Rakeysh went up to Sonam and then told her to just be herself and natural and that she had done a fine job.
