Sanjay to wear wig in next film

Sanjay Dutt will sport a wig for his role of Chatur Singh in Mohammed Aslam’s film Chatur Singh — Two Star. Sanjay, who plays the role of a junior rank inspector in the film, has a very different look, which he hasn’t had so far. This will be the first time Sanjay is planning to use a wig.

A source from the unit says, "Sanjay is very excited as he has never played such a funny character. Director Ajay Chandhok says they ordered a special wig from London made by a Hollywood wig specialist and prosthetic makeup artist Mike Stringer. Sanju sports a Hitler-ish wig with a side parting along with a fine moustache. Sanju recommended Mike’s name to the filmmaker for the wig and Mike’s team flew down to Mumbai to take Sanju’s measurements. After six weeks, Sanju was ready with his new look. The entire team was excited with his new look in the film. This is going to be one of Sanjay’s best performances after the Munnabhai series."

Our source further adds, "Sanjay is one actor who doesn’t like the idea of using a wig. He prefers to have his natural look. Even during the shoot of EMI, he was unhappy with a few scenes where he had to use an artificial beard. When the actor saw the rushes he told the director to reshoot the scenes. He took a few days off to grow back his beard and then reshot the scenes."
