Acer Aspire Revo PC: A New Revolution

A new revolution is seen in the multimedia entertainment and gaming arena in India as Acer brings its latest offering. Today, the company in collaboration with Nvidia announced the exciting Acer Aspire Revo PC at an event in Mumbai. Acer Aspire Revo claims to be the first PC on the newly launched Nvidia Ion platform, it is a complete desktop computing along with enhanced graphic capabilities.

The Revo provides a good no. of features incorporated with the Nvidia Ion graphics processor that should elevate the computing experience. The new Acer Aspire Revo computer supports multimedia content in high definition with advanced graphic support. The PC offers immediate access to music, video and images, users can effortlessly transmit and stream HD content. On top of all these, it can also function as a gaming console.

The Acer Aspire Revo PC is appealing due to its form factor and it claims to be the first SFF PC that is based on the Ion platform. The Acer has bought a distinct blend of the Intel Atom 230 processor with the Nvidia Ion graphics processor; this novel PC additionally consumes low energy. The new PC boasts of its reduced dimensions with graphic capability akin a true multimedia PC. Compared to traditional desktop PC's this PC delivers 5-10X faster graphics performance with the highly integrated Nvidia Ion GPU.

The new Acer Revo is certified for Windows Vista Premium too and Ion it provides complete access to complex video with full graphic support. Only 1 Litre in dimensions, the PC is characterized by a refined design making it practical and versatile. The Reva comes along with the VESA special mounting system and is capable of adapting to any environment. One can save space as this makes it easy to attach the device behind any LCD. With the vertical adjustment feature of the VESA mount, users are ensured that the power-on button along with the memory card reader and webcam are easily accessible.

This device is packed with an ET style webcam, wireless keyboard and wireless mouse and is a combo of a complete home office PC or as a living room PC for casual gaming on television. Moreover, it has stylish stereo speakers, is furnished with many ports that allow it to be seamlessly connected to a wide variety of devices. The PC also ensures super-fast network connection with the 802.11b/g and /Draft-N on selected models wireless or Gigabyte Ethernet.

It also allows enjoying real-life Full HD video reproduction with the help of HDMI port. The PC offers a choice of a Serial ATA Hard Drive of up to 1TB and up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, preloaded with Vista Home Premium and Windows 7 Ready.
