Ducati SuperSport Launched in India Starting @ INR 12.08 Lakh

Ducati has officially launched the SuperSport in India. The motorcycle will extend Ducati lineup with two value for money performance products placed right under 959 Panigale. Bookings started few weeks before this day while shades on offer includes Ducati Red and White. Here are the ex-showroom prices for the all-new SuperSport Series:

Ducati SuperSport – INR 12.08 Lakh
Ducati SuperSport S – INR 13.39 Lakh

The duo was first seen on INTERMOT 2016 and targets buyers who love performance but cannot compromise everyday driveability with their motorcycle. To everyone’s surprise, 80 percent of the power from its 937cc, twin cylinder engine comes into action before 3000 rpm.

This makes it an excellent option for Indian roads where high traffic sometimes don’t let you rev to the higher range. The engine is good for 113 HP and 96 Nm of torque. SuperSport series comes with three riding modes (Urban, Touring, Sport) and Ducati safety pack, which includes Bosch ABS and traction control.

Apart from Ducati quick shifter, single body shade and Ohlins suspension on the S model, everything on both bikes remains the same. You can even spot a rear seat cowl on the performance friendly model. Ducati offers Red wheels on SuperSport S while lower spec model comes with standard Black alloy wheels. LED headlights and dual exhaust outlets are offered on both the variants, taking the total weight to 210 kg for lower spec model.

SuperSport series is the most affordable fully faired motorcycle on offer from the Italian superbike manufacturer. Ducati currently has a limited number of products in various other series due to implementation of BS4 emission norms. They will launch all those products within next few weeks.
