Honda promised two all-new products for India this year. First one was Honda Africa Twin and it seems like the second one is even preparing for its launch. Yes! You heard it right as Honda MSX125 (Grom) may be the next big thing for Japanese manufacturer in India.
The mini motorcycle was recently spotted on test in Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) and may seem as an advanced version for those who thought Navi was not worth their interest. If you still feel mini motorcycles are not that great, the spec sheet on MSX125 can make your eyes dazzle with charm. The one spotted here supports USD forks, extra wide 12 inch tyres, anti-lock braking system and tank shrouds for that bold look.
As not everyone would go for a mini motorcycle, Honda seems to place this one for around INR 80,000. It comes with a 124.9cc, air cooled engine and may use the same four speed gearbox as the international version. As it costs more than 3000 pounds in UK, Honda needs to localize the same up to 100% to achieve the above hinted tag of INR 80,000
Honda MSX125 comes with one unique headlight, all-digital instrument console, daytime running lights embedded in its tank and a complete motorcycle style seating arrangement. It will have no direct competition and thus, gets the benefit to start an all new segment of motorcycling in India.
