Honda CBR150R & CBR250R Removed from the Official Website in India

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India recently updated their official website. The changes of the same includes the removal of Honda CBR150R, CBR250R and Dream Neo from the lineup. As of now, it not clear whether Honda would be updating the old models to BS4 or they would be bringing the 2017 models of CBR150R and CBR250R to India in coming weeks. Some rumors also suggest that Honda might even replace the CBR250R with CBR300R in India.

Dream Neo’s discontinuation was even quite surprising as the same engine was used in 4 motorcycles and has been updated to comply with the upcoming norms. Honda even introduced the new 2017 CBR1000RR Fireblade, along with its SP edition in the country. Honda CBR250R carries the tag of being the most reliable motorcycle in the company lineup.

In fact, it was even once featured for being so reliable that the buyer was selling it because of being bored riding the same bike from so many years. The flagship locally produced motorcycle for Honda is CB Hornet 160R while all five scooters were updated with new graphics and BS4 engines. Honda’s entry level commuter, CD 110 Dream now carries an optional variant with self starter and standard Black alloy wheels.

Honda currently has eight motorcycles in its local production lineup, five scooters and four superbikes, along with Honda Navi as an exclusive option for city riding. This takes their total number of products available to 18 only. Honda’s scooter range is the best selling section for the company, selling more than 3 million units last year and ready to touch a new milestone with added features like mobile charging and LED daytime running lights. Navi is the most affordable product while Honda Goldwing comes out as the most expensive option in the company lineup. It even comes with an airbag!
