Ducati to Launch 5 New Bikes in India in 2017 [Prices Revealed]

Starting June this year, Ducati will launch 5 new bikes in India to widen its product portfolio. The five new bikes that will be launched this year are Monster 797, Multistrada 950, Scrambler Desert Sled, Scrambler Cafe Racer, and SuperSport Series. Ducati India recently crossed 1000 unit sale in India.

Not just that, the company sold 580 units in the year 2016 only, making it the first milestone in the history of Indian operations. The dealership network has seen a considerable growth while company believes in adding new international spec models in the shortest span of time. Ducati seems to satisfy each and every customer with tailor made motorcycle lineup on their side. India will soon get the Ducati Monster 797, bringing back old days with the 803cc, air cooled engine for those who are not into buying a Scrambler from the company. Defining a new lower edge for the famous street fighter family, 797 is aimed at bigger sales for the Monster series. Monster 797 will go on-sale in India for INR 7.82 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

2) Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled

Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled is based on the dirt biking platform. It comes with thick tread tyres, long suspension travel and perfectly fits as a dual sport machine. The motorcycle uses the same 803 cc, air cooled motor as the Ducati Monster 797 and comes with reinforced chassis and new swingarm to support 200 mm of front and rear suspension travel. Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled will go on-sale in India for INR 9.03 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

3) Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer

Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer, carrying the same engine as the first Scrambler that produces 75 HP of peak power. The changes here include a cafe racer style seat, 17 inch front and rear wheels wrapped in Pirelli Diablo Rosso III wheels and bar end rear view mirrors. The motorcycle looses the protection components and even gets limited travel over the Desert Sled. Scrambler Cafe Racer will go on-sale in India for INR 9.03 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

Ducati has expanded its adventure friendly lineup with an all new 2017 Multistrada 950, sharing the engine with Ducati SuperSport and producing 113 HP of peak power. Popular by the name baby Multistrada, the 950 borrows design language from the Multistrada 1200 and 1200 Enduro. The motorcycle aims at riders with smaller budget but huge adventure plans for the future. The cost cutting seems obvious as the motorcycle uses dual sided swing-arm and bit street focused chassis. Ducati Multistrada 950 will go on-sale in India for INR 11.53 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

5) Ducati SuperSport Series

Ducati SuperSport comes with 937cc L-twin engine producing 113 HP and 96.7 NM, while the differences between the base and S model can be clearly seen from their fairing’s shade plus the S model comes with additional benefits like Ducati Quick Shifter, pillion seat cover, 48 mm USD Ohlins forks and fully adjustable Ohlins monoshock. Ducati SuperSport will go on-sale in India for INR 11.72 lakhs and SuperSport S will be priced @ INR 13 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
