2018 Kawasaki Ninja 250 Rendering by Young Machine

2018 Kawasaki Ninja 250 was recently rendered by Young Machine, bringing a tough competitor to Honda CBR250RR. Undoubtedly, CBR is the most appealing motorcycle of its segment currently but if things go the same way as imagined, Kawasaki could win over the crown of the most aggressive motorcycle in the quarter liter segment.

The front seems to be inspired from the current generation design but gets addition of full LED headlight, Black inserts, sharp nose and 2017 Ninja 650 inspired center section.

This rendering shows the integrated turn indicators into the side fairing while golden USD front forks look perfect on the sharp profile. The present design of Ninja 250R is the same one that we regularly see on India spec Ninja 300.

2017 Ninja 250 is carrying a twin cylinder, 249 cc engine producing 31.5 BHP at 11000 rpm and 21 Nm at 10000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox while most parts are shared with the bigger Ninja 300. The quarter liter motorcycle is on sale in selected markets.

Kawasaki India is updating its products at a fast pace and once this design goes into production, the India spec Ninja 300 will also share the same with Ninja 250. The bigger 296 cc, twin cylinder motor is good for 38.5 BHP at 11000 rpm and 27 Nm at 10000 rpm.

The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Indian market currently has Z250 with the smaller and Ninja 300 with the bigger engine. They are even two of the most affordable models in the company lineup that extend to INR 69.80 lakh for the flagship Ninja H2R.
