Suzuki Ecstar recently unveiled their 2018 MotoGP machine at Sepang International Circuit. 2018 Suzuki GSX-RR is now updated by considering the drawbacks that riders felt last year.
The team now includes Davide Brivio (team manager), Shinichi Sahara (project leader), Ken Kawauchi (technical manager), Andrea Iannone (rider) and Alex Rins (rider). Both the riders will stay with Suzuki Ecstar team this season and this time, they claim to have learnt a lot from their last experiences.
From the fairing design to its rear panel, the minor design changes are also visible. It seems that Suzuki is determined to make a shocking comeback this year. Andrea Iannone is an Italian premier class racer who first features with team Ducati and raised eyebrows with his riding style. He is one among the fastest riders of world and this year, his adaptability with the new GSX-RR will be on test throughout the season.
He clearly aims at the top 5 and feels ready after long winter break and hard training sessions. He has worked hard on mental control and thinks that it will work for sure this season. Alex Rins plans to practice more on his new GSX-RR and keep learning new things through regular practice sessions.
The project leader of Suzuki Ecstar feels that even after having tough circumstances, they still performed according to expectations last year. This time, they have worked hard to get over specific issues and get the best out of their updated engine.
Everyone was working full time in the winters to create the perfect balance between man and his machine. They now know the improvements that GSX-RR has gone through and thus, better results are an obvious expectation. Suzuki is participating for the fourth time after a long break and scoring something good will be of utmost importance.
