2018 UM Xtreet 250X has been unveiled internationally for select markets. The quarter liter street fighter is available in Black and White shade, both carrying fuel tank studded LED daytime running lights for added safety. They are using UXS 230 engine that offers 223cc of displacement and carburetor fed fuel assembly.
Air cooling helps them keep cost under check for their 2018 Xtreet 250X. The engine produces 16.4 HP at 6600 rpm and 19.6 Nm at 5100 rpm. The tune is cruiser specific but Xtreet 250X carries pure at heart street DNA in its KTM inspired design.
The engine comes mated to a five speed gearbox. Front comes with thick USD forks while rear suspension on use is a monoshock. The red painted frame, dual tone fuel tank and under seat panels clearly remind of KTM 200 Duke from most angles.
On the other hand, UM is using totally different headlight design and alloy wheels for their own unique stance with Xtreet 250X. The motorcycle comes with metal finish exhaust here while Duke comes with an underbelly unit. Front and rear tyres used here measures 110/70-17 and 140/70-17 respectively. It comes with standard front and rear disc brake.
Xtreet 250X measures 2080 mm in length, 750 mm in width and 1120 mm in height. It carries 1370 mm of wheelbase and offers 140mm ground clearance. Seat height is quite high at 820mm while 11 liters of fuel can be stored in its fuel tank.
Xtreet 250X may not launch in India anytime soon as UM is using its cruiser specific image to sell Renegade series of bikes in India. They share a lot of parts but are still expensive when compared to rivals like Royal Enfield and Bajaj Auto. It even comes with a unique semi digital instrument console for easy use.
