Pulsar NS160 ABS to Launch in India Soon: The Pulsar series is one of the highest selling bikes in India. Within the range, the NS 160 is one of the most stylish bikes, and it is based on the NS 200, with a design that looks fresh even years after it came out. The 2019 model of the bike will continue to impress us with its looks and will get cosmetic upgrades to make it even more appealing. No mechanical upgrades will make it to the 2019 model of the NS 160.
There will be an addition of new paint schemes and graphics on the bike. Up front, the most stand-out feature will include the LED Daytime Running Lights, giving the naked bike an even more fresh look. ABS is another feature that will make it to the 2019 model. Other features like the electric start, engine kill switch, auto-cancelling indicators, tubeless tires, and the digital/analogue instrument console will remain standard on the bike.
The NS 160 ABS will draw its power from the same 160cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with the triple spark plug. The engine churns out a maximum power of 15.2 hp and a peak torque of 14.6 Nm. It will come mated to the same five-speed manual transmission as before. The acceleration time from rest to 100 kmph will be 15 seconds and the bike will have a top speed of 115 kmph.
The 2019 NS 160 ABS will be offered in six different colour options, namely, Black, Yellow, Purple, Blue, Red, and Grey. There will be an array of revised body graphics which will give the bike an even more attractive look. The launch is scheduled around October this year; Bajaj is taking full advantage and planning to capture the market during the festive season. Although no official pricing has been revealed as of now, the 2019 NS 160 ABS is expected to be priced around INR 90,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
