Hero xPulse 200T is the production version for the xPulse Concept seen last year at EICMA. This year, the motorcycle is seen with production ready skin, carrying matte finished fuel tank and gloss front under seat panel. Hero xPulse is seen with comfortable long seat that extends slightly forward for comfort packed long distance and adventure riding. The motorcycle comes with a rear luggage carrier and small front headlight with transparent visor. Hero MotoCorp uses telescopic suspension with 190mm of travel at the front and rear monoshock with 170mm of travel. The setup brings 220mm worth clean ground clearance to the xPulse 200T.
The motorcycle comes with 825mm of decent seat height, making this the highest ever seat from Hero’s own production range. The architecture for xPulse 200T is based on the Xtreme 200R, helping them keep the overall cost lower than usual adventure bikes. The front and rear wheel is available with Ceat dual purpose tires for better grip levels. Hero has surprisingly used alloy wheels on the tourer, putting tubeless tires in action for ease during any leaks on the road. The engine used here is the same 200cc motor seen under the Xtreme 200R, producing 18.4 PS and 17.1 Nm on the streetfighter. The tune here is expected to be more torque focused than the peak power.
