2019 Honda CBR500R was recently unveiled at EICMA 2018. The fully faired sports bike has got serious upgrades to the body, getting a mature side profile with complete fairing and sharper front end with iconic dual headlight design. The engine is good for 47 BHP of peak power and using 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch further improves everything for the motorcycle. The headlight are LED-powered while ABS comes as standard on both the front and rear disc brake.
Honda has also showcased the naked CB500R and adventure friendly CB500X at the show, both carrying the same engine and dynamics as the fully faired cousin. The twin-cylinder engine is cost effective and decently powerful as next jump from the this segment takes the rider into CBR650R category with loads of added power. CBR500R comes with sporty clip-on handlebars, full LCD console and still weighs just 152 kg with all the added goodies to the package.
