The total volume for the top 10 best-selling bikes sold in November 2018 is down in comparison to the numbers posted in the last two months. The positions have changed slightly as five commuter motorcycles are struggling with almost comparable numbers to three high displacement motorcycles. The first and second position goes to Hero Splendor and HF Deluxe with 2,25,536 and 1,68,839 units respectively. Apart from these two, other bikes listed here are good for five-digit sales number only.
Hero Passion is good for the third position with 74,396 units while 125cc Honda Shine follows next with 70,803 units. Bajaj Pulsar missed the fourth position with a small difference, posting 69,579 units for the month of November 2018. Hero Glamour and Bajaj Platina scored 63,416 and 62,555 units respectively. Bajaj CT100 is the eighth most selling motorcycle with 56,864 units scored in the 30-day period. Royal Enfield Classic 350 was the next best seller with 39,025 units.
The number is much smaller in comparison to their 50k+ units posted by the Classic in the early days of 2018. TVS Apache, including the numbers from RR 310, posted 30,079 units in November 2018. The drop in sales is considerable for all brands and highly visible for Hero Motocorp with almost 1,00,000 units lower than their average festive sales number. TVS is also seen lower than ever as the difference between Apache and Bajaj Pulsar is widening with each passing month.
