As per the latest details available, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 is expected to be launched in the Indian market very soon, most probably next week. The upcoming 125cc motorcycle will be based on the Pulsar 150 Neon rather than being inspired by Pulsar NS125, as reported earlier.
Launching the 125cc Bajaj Pulsar in India would turn out to be one of the best decisions made by the brand considering the affordable price tag as well as the strong foothold of the Pulsar brand in India.
The Bajaj Pulsar 125 won’t require the addition of ABS, making it one of the cost-effective choices under the Pulsar banner. The motorcycle will feature bright colour detailing on various panels including the headlight housing, pillion grabrail, rims, and the side panels. The motorcycle will also feature neon “Pulsar” logo on the fuel tank.
The upcoming motorcycle is expected to feature a single-seat saddle with no fuel tank extensions. The Pulsar 125 is expected to get a drum brake at the rear while the bike will come equipped with CBS (Combined Braking System) as standard.
There are no confirmed details available regarding the engine specifications of the upcoming motorcycle. Considering the specs of the Pulsar NS125 available in the international markets, the India-spec Pulsar 125 will be powered by a 124.5cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine.
The 125cc Pulsar will be capable of generating a maximum power figure of 12 HP at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque figure of 11 Nm at 6,000 pm. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Bajaj Pulsar 125 is expected to be launched in India soon while we expect the price tag to range in between INR 60,000-65,000 (ex-showroom).
