Royal Enfield Bullet 350X Spotted Ahead of Launch in India

Royal Enfield Bullet 350X, the upcoming affordable motorcycle from the brand has been spotted undisguised ahead of its launch. Based on the design language of the Bullet 350, the recently revealed 350X has been subjected to cosmetic changes only.

Coming to the major updates, the chrome bits seen on the standard Bullet have now been offered an all-black theme in addition to a blacked-out engine as well as the crankcases. The brand has retained the spoke wheels for the Royal Enfield Bullet 350X. According to the reports, the motorcycle will be available in the market in different colour schemes. Some of the shades feature silver finish over the fuel tank in addition to the crankcases.

The “Royal Enfield” lettering on the fuel tank is also different for different colour options. The all-black 350X will feature the Royal Enfield sticker in a regular design while the other shades have some graphic detailing across it. The side panels also feature a rather simple insignia as compared to the standard Bullet while the pin-striping also seems to have been replaced by the brand.

There aren’t any mechanical changes offered to the Royal Enfield Bullet 350X. It is powered by the same 346cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine capable of churning out a maximum power of 19.8HP and a peak torque of 28Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front while the rear of the motorcycle features twin gas-charged shock absorbers.

At the time of launch, the brand will be introducing both the Royal Enfield 350X standard and the electric start variant. At present, the Bullet 350 is available at a price tag of INR 1.21 lakhs for the standard variant and INR 1.34 lakh for the electric start variant. The new 350X series is expected to be priced slightly lower in comparison to the Bullet 350. It will be interesting to see how the brand will line up the upcoming affordable 350X in its portfolio.
