According to the recent reports, Classic Legends is planning to launch 3 new Jawa bikes over the next 18 months. The upcoming motorcycles will be specifically focused on the larger customer base in India.
The reports also suggest that the upcoming 3 new Jawa bikes will feature the much-awaited Perak Bobber which was initially unveiled in November last year. In addition to this, the other two motorcycles are expected to be a dual-purpose adventure motorcycle and a scrambler.
Commenting on the plan of launching three new Jawa motorcycles, Ashish Joshi, CEO, Classic Legends, stated – “We want to create a decent-sized product portfolio. Three more Jawa bikes with different technology and engine configuration will be introduced in the next 18 months. We will be announcing more details on the product plan on our first anniversary on November 15, 2019.”
According to the earlier reports, the brand was likely to commence the bookings of Jawa Perak Bobber in September 2019 though no recent news has been updated as of yet. The bobber is powered by a 334cc DOHC, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, fuel-injected engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 30HP and a peak torque of 31 Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Though there aren’t many details available on the technical specifications of the three upcoming Jawa motorcycles, one can expect the brand to officially reveal the specifics in the coming months. In addition to this, the brand is also planning to expand its dealership network in the country as well as work towards faster deliveries.
