Apple iPhone SE 2 is Coming Soon: Apple recently launched the much-anticipated iPhone series, which includes the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max. There is no doubt that these new smartphones by the company are technically very sound but it’s a fact that they aren’t cheap as well.
According to the analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo of the TF International Securities, Apple will soon be releasing an affordable smartphone by the name iPhone SE 2. Earlier, Kuo predicted through an investor note that the iPhone SE 2 will be launched in early 2020 and now it is being said that the smartphone will be launched in March 2020 at a price tag of $399 (INR 28,300).
These reports may prove to be true as the previous version, the iPhone SE that was launched in 2016, was brought to the market at a price tag of $399. The iPhone SE was essentially an iPhone 5S with some updated specifications. Kuo also spilt some beans about the specification details of the upcoming iPhone SE 2 including its colour options, RAM, and the storage options.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo’s investor note, it reiterates that the iPhone SE 2 will be powered by the A13 Bionic chip paired with 3GB LPDDR4X RAM, and the smartphone will not be integrated with a 3D Touch. The affordable iPhone variant is expected to come with 2 storage options: 64GB and 128GB. It may come in colour options like Space Grey, Silver, and Red.
Further in his investor note, Kuo claimed that the iPhone SE 2 will be positioned as an upgrade to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s while the design of this smartphone will have similarity with the iPhone 8.
According to Kuo’s previous reports, he suggests that the iPhone SE 2 will be equipped with a 4.7-inch LCD display and will integrate Touch ID on the home button. The smartphone may run on iOS 13 operating system while reports have also been there that the company may stop the sales of the iPhone 8 to make room for the new launch.
