According to recent reports, India’s first 2020 Bentley Flying Spur has been delivered to Deepak Mevada, a businessman in Ahmedabad. The competitor to the Rolls Royce Ghost, the Flying Spur was updated back in 2019 and has been designed at the British manufacturer’s headquarters in Crewe, England.
The sports sedan from the brand was specifically customised by the owner’s son and cost Deepak a whopping INR 5.6 crores (on-road price tag). The car has been delivered to its owners after a wait of six months as it was booked back in August 2019 at the Red Stallion Super Cars dealership in Ahmedabad.
The sports sedan from Bentley features a Meteor paint scheme at the exterior while the cabin has been offered a Cricket Ball paint job, inspired from the deep burgundy shade offered to a cricket ball.
Featuring an overall muscular sporty outlook, the 2020 Bentley Flying Spur has been equipped with a phenomenal design language both inside the cabin as well as on the exterior. The LED matrix headlamps at the front with a crystal-cut design accentuates its premium appeal while the addition of wraparound tail light units with “B” badging further imparts it a stunning outlook. The brand has further equipped the car with 22-inch tyres at either side to add on to the sporty manoeuvre.
Powering the sports sedan is a 6.0-litre, twin-turbocharged, W12 engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 626 bhp and a peak torque of 900 Nm. The engine comes mated to a dual-clutch eight-speed gearbox.
The 2020 Bentley Flying Spur is capable of accelerating from 0-100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds while the top speed of the sports sedan is limited at 333kmph. The brand further offers the sedan in a host of made-to-order colour schemes, 17 standard colour variants as well as 14 extended paint schemes.
Apart from this, the brand is expected to offer the sedan with two new powertrains namely 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and 3.0-litre twin-turbo hybrid V6 in the coming future.
