2020 Suzuki GSX-R1000R Gets GSX-RR MotoGP Livery

The 2020 Suzuki GSX-R1000R superbike has been recently offered a new GSX-RR MotoGP livery. The brand has equipped the motorcycle with a blue and silver 60th anniversary MotoGP detailing which adds a nice and sporty touch to the Supersports motorcycle variant.

GSX-RR MotoGP

The mudguard at the front has been finished in silver paint scheme while the same livery is carried onto the fairing going all the way to the tail of the motorcycle. The front fairing has been offered a Suzuki Ecstar branding finished in blue and black while the blue fuel tank design has been offered the Suzuki moniker finished in red.

GSX-RR MotoGP

Apart from the addition of the GSX-RR MotoGP livery, the motorcycle remains technically and cosmetically unaltered. The front end of the Supersports machine continues to feature a compact LED headlight mated to LED DRLs as well as the LED blinkers. The LED setup is further carried towards the rear of the motorcycle while the overall muscular profile has also been kept the same.

GSX-RR MotoGP

To jog your memory, powering the Suzuki GSX-R1000R is a 999.8cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 185HP and a peak torque of 117Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The suspension duties on the Supersports machine are handled by inverted telescopic forks at the front while the rear has been mated to a monoshock unit.

GSX-RR MotoGP

The motorcycle gets twin disc brakes at the front with Brembo twin-piston callipers and a single disc at the rear mated to a dual-channel ABS unit as standard. In addition to offering the Suzuki GSX-R1000R with GSX-RR MotoGP livery, the brand has offered the same to GSX-R125 and GSX-R150. The brand is yet to offer the all-new MotoGP livery to the India-spec Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 and the Gixxer SF 250.
