Next-Gen Mahindra Scorpio Coming with a Panoramic Sunroof?

The next-gen model of Mahindra Scorpio SUV has been in the news for quite some time now, and it has also been spotted testing multiple times across various parts of the country. As far as the launch is concerned, the brand is planning to launch the new-gen model of Scorpio in the coming months. In one of the latest updates, the upcoming SUV has been spotted featuring a bigger sunroof and according to a recent post by Motorbeam on Instagram, it could be a panoramic sunroof.

As one can judge from the recent spy photos, the next-gen model of the Mahindra Scorpio looks larger and features a completely new front-end design. Surprisingly, there is a white patch on the roof of the test model which means that the top-spec variant could feature a panoramic sunroof. But from some angles, the placement of the sunroof doesn’t seem aligned properly, and it seems like it is the part of the camouflage and not a cutout for the sunroof.

If we talk about the interior of the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio, which has been spotted a lot of times, some of the key features include the likes of a touchscreen infotainment system, vertical AC vents, a flat-bottom steering wheel with multiple controls, a 6-speed automatic gearbox, and an automatic climate control system.

Mahindra has also obtained a trademark by the name ‘Scorpio Sting’ and reflects that it will pose a tough competition to all of the mid-size SUVs available in the Indian market. The evident step in the next-gen Scorpio is the larger footprint of the SUV. The bonnet is longer, the overhangs are longer and it looks wider and much more spacious than the present-gen model.

Both the engine options will be available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a torque-converter 6-speed automatic transmission.
