Classic Legends is working on new bikes to add to its current lineup, and the forthcoming Jawa Cruiser bike is one of them. The motorcycle has been spotted several times during testing on the roads of Pune, Maharashtra. Recently, the new model has been spotted again. However, the test models in these spy photos are highly camouflaged, yet there are enough design features to be seen.
To begin with the front, a round headlight, a slim visor, and circular turn indicators are visible. We also observe spherical bar-end rear-view mirrors. The fuel tank is fairly massive, and the side panels appear to be the same design as the Jawa and Jawa 42. Other notable features include fork gaiters, an engine and leg guard, spoked alloy wheels, and twin exhaust pipes. The majority of the key components, such as the engine case, frame, exhaust, alloy wheels, and rear suspension, have been blacked out.
The motorcycle’s seat is a single-piece unit that looks to be spacious and well-cushioned for the rider, while the pillion seat seems slightly short. The suspension system comprises standard telescopic front forks and dual rear shockers. The bike also has disc brakes on both ends (likely with dual-channel ABS). The riding stance appears relaxed, as is expected with cruisers. The footpegs are positioned forward, and the handlebar is broad and slightly tall, while we are unable to comment on the instrument cluster because it’s obscured by riding coats.
Jawa cruiser will most likely have the same 334cc engine as Perak. The liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine is coupled to a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox and is capable of producing 30.64 ps of maximum power and 32.74 Nm of maximum torque. While speaking about its launch and pricing, the brand has not announced anything but we can expect the bike to hit the markets by the next year.
