The Austrian bikemaker, KTM, today unveiled 2022 models of two bikes, 250 Adventure and 390 Adventure. Both bikes are expected to arrive in our country early next year. Just like the 390 Adventure, the 250 Adventure has also gone through various cosmetic as well as design updates. The quarter-litre adventure-tourer now features a new attractive dual-tone colour scheme, which is orange with white accentuates and blue with white accentuates.
Aside from that, like the KTM 390 Adventure, the 250 Adventure also gets new alloys, which are now 10 spoke wheels instead of the 12 spokes on the present model. Other than that, the rest of the parts remained unchanged. In terms of features, the KTM 250 Adventure has a halogen headlight with dual LED DRLs at the front, an LED taillight, a quick-shifter, dual-channel ABS with off-roading mode, and a fully-digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity.
Other notable features include large pillion grab rails, dual-purpose tyres, knuckle guards, split-seats, and many more. In terms of powertrain, the 2022 KTM 250 Adventure is going to continue with the same single-cylinder, 248.8cc, liquid-cooled engine, which is coupled with a six-speed gearbox and is capable of generating 29.5 bhp of max power at 9000 rpm and 24 Nm of max torque at 7500 rpm.
While the suspension setup also remains unchanged, the motorcycle now also features WP-sourced USD front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. Moreover, the braking chores are handled by the same 320mm single disc at the front and a 230mm rotor at the rear end. In terms of availability, the 2022 KTM 250 Adventure is expected to go on sale in India in the coming weeks while the ex-showroom price tag is expected to hover around Rs 2.50 lakhs.
