Along with its other cars in India, Toyota has increased the price of the Innova Crysta as well. As per the current price list, the Toyota Crysta’s older variants become up to Rs 33,000 costlier with the new price tag. Besides this, the brand has introduced two new entry-level variants of the MPV. There is a new manual-only GX (-) petrol variant which is available at Rs 16.89 lakh and Rs 16.94 lakh for the 7 and 8-seater configurations, respectively.
To begin with the price hike in older variants, the GX variants’ prices have increased by up to Rs 12,000, while the higher VX and ZX trims are pricey by Rs 33,000 for both diesel and petrol versions. The diesel-only, made-to-order G and G+ are now dearer by Rs 24,000 and Rs 12,000, respectively. Nevertheless, no mechanical update has been noted for both petrol and diesel variants of the Innova Crysta.
Moreover, there is no change to the equipment list and the base G trim supports the same steel wheels, power windows, manual AC, rear wiper, and central locking along with safety features like stability control, ABS, three airbags, and hill start assist. While higher variants add features such as ambient lighting, a rearview camera, seven airbags, automatic climate control, front and rear parking sensors, and more.
Speaking of the newly added entry-level petrol trim, the new GX (-) variant overheads Rs 41,000 less as compared to the standard GX variant and is available solely with manual transmission. It is also worth mentioning here that the addition of a new entry-level variant has made the Innova Crysta starting price more affordable with a price range between Rs 16.89 lakh and Rs 25.32 lakh, though it still poses in its own segment as equated to other traditional MPVs.
