2022 Ather 450X and Ather 450 Plus Gen 3 City-Wise Price List

Ather Energy, one of India’s popular scooter brands, launched the third generation of the Ather 450X scooter yesterday. Currently, the scooter is available in the country with an introductory price of Rs 1.56 lakh. Along with the 450X Gen 3, the Ather 450 Plus has also been debuted, which is offered at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.34 lakh. The prices mentioned here are ex-showroom in Bengaluru. Here is the city-wise ex-showroom price list for the 2022 Ather scooters:

 In addition, the two-wheeler maker revealed that it has grown its retail footprint to 36 locations with 41 retail outlets, with aspirations to expand to 150 experience centres in 100 cities by 2023. The brand has updated the scooter with advanced features and a larger battery pack. The 2022 Ather 450X Gen 3 comes fitted with a 3.7 kWh unit instead of an earlier 2.6 kWh unit. 

As claimed by the company, the scooter offers an ARAI-certified range of 146 km and a TrueRangeTM of 105 km. Also, the brand has equipped the all-new 450X gen 3 with broad rear tyres for better grip during rides. The scooter is claimed to offer 22% better grip in all weather conditions. Apart from this, the TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) function is offered as an additional accessory for an enhanced experience. 

Speaking of the updated design elements on the scooter, it now gets revamped rear view mirrors and a new single-cast aluminium-made side step. As far as new features are concerned, the scooter comes loaded with a 7.0-inch instrument cluster and an improved UI thanks to 2GB of RAM rather than the 1GB of the current generation model. The screen offers information like current speed, charging, connectivity, and so on.

Besides all the above-mentioned updates, the design and chassis of the 450X Gen 3 remain unchanged. The colour selections also remain the same, notably white, space grey, and mint green. The Ather e-scooters compete with the Ola S1 Pro, Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube Electric, and Okinawa Okhi90 in the premium electric scooter segment.
