The Bajaj-Triumph collaboration has recently been the subject of numerous rumours, and the first motorcycle will be released in 2023. Bajaj Auto reported a profit of Rs. 1,173 crores in Q1 FY23, up 11% year on year, and revenue increased 8% to just over 8,000 crores. However, volumes fell by 7% while the operating profit margin increased by 100 bhp to 16.6%. The Chakan-based manufacturer anticipates that the semiconductor shortage will last until the end of 2023.
Bajaj Autos and Triumph Motorcycles UK collaboration have been working on new bikes for a long time now. The upcoming motorcycle was spotted testing a few days back, and now new spy shots have surfaced online. The bike is in production-ready guise and reveals the design and styling. It seems the Bajaj-Triumph partnership wanted to gain some attention for their bike, so they purposely revealed it.
While looking at the images, we find that the motorcycle is a perfect blend of retro and modern design. The front fascia gets a round headlight, which is an LED unit. The overall work done on the forthcoming bike, from side panels to tank, appears neat and elegant. The entirely black-finished test mule was likely a final product.
Moreover, we are not sure about the displacement yet, but we can safely assume that the manufacturer could fit the bike with a 200-250cc engine, which is expected to be a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit.
It needs to be mentioned here that the previously spotted bike had a double-barrel exhaust canister unit, but this time it has only a single unit. While these are all speculations at the moment, Bajaj can use KTM’s 250cc engine since both brands are in partnership.
As per the latest details available, the first affordable Bajaj-Triumph motorcycle will be officially revealed in early 2023 while the India launch is expected to take place in mid-2023.
