Royal Enfield SM650 Gets Expensive in India – Here Are The New Prices

The Super Meteor 650, Royal Enfield’s newest motorcycle for the Indian market, has got a price hike of Rs 5,000 to Rs 6,000. Here are the updated variant-wise prices for all three variants – Astral, Interstellar, and Celestial.

The Interstellar model has a dual-tone paint job and the Astral model has a single-tone finish. The Celestial collection then receives a dual-tone finish as well but with a more vibrant theme. This particular model also gains from extras like a big windscreen and a pillion backrest. Other design cues, such as the round headlight, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, step-up seat, and twin-sided exhausts, are the same for the entire lineup.

Identical to the mechanical specs, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 range employs a 648cc, parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled motor. This motor generates a max power of 47 bhp and a peak torque of 52 Nm on all three types. In internal test sessions, this middleweight cruiser motorbike achieved a fuel efficiency of 23.7 km/l.

Despite the price rise, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is still significantly less expensive than its main competitor the Kawasaki Vulcan S in India.
