First Made-in-India Hero-Harley Motorcycle Officially Revealed

The first official images of the Harley-Davidson X440 have been released. The X440 is the first product of the Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp collaboration. It will be available in the highly competitive mid-capacity category.

Harley-Davidson recently revealed the X440, a new motorcycle that is made in India. The X440 is powered by a 440cc single-cylinder engine and is expected to be priced under Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom). The X440 has a neo-retro styling with a round headlight, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and a single-piece seat. It has a tubular frame and is suspended on an upside-down fork and preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers. Braking is handled by a single disc brake at both ends, with dual-channel ABS as standard.

The X440 is the first motorcycle to be launched under Harley-Davidson’s partnership with Hero MotoCorp. The two companies have been working together since 2019 to develop a range of motorcycles for the Indian market. The X440 is expected to be launched in India in July 2023 and it will compete with motorcycles like the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB350RS, and the Jawa Forty-Two. These motorcycles are all popular in the Indian market and offer a good mix of performance, style, and value for money.

The Harley-Davidson X440 is a new and exciting motorcycle that is sure to appeal to riders in India. The X440’s combination of American heritage and Indian manufacturing could give it a competitive edge. The X440 is a significant move for Harley-Davidson, which has been struggling in recent years. The company has been losing market share in the United States and Europe and has been forced to close some factories. The X440 is seen as a way for Harley-Davidson to reach new customers in emerging markets.
