Hero Xtreme 440R In The Making – Based On Harley-Davidson X440

Hero MotoCorp is reportedly working on a new 440cc motorcycle, which is expected to be launched in 2024. The new motorcycle is likely to be called the Xtreme 440R. It will be powered by the same engine that will also be used in the upcoming Harley-Davidson X440.

The Xtreme 440R will be a premium motorcycle from Hero MotoCorp. It will compete with the likes of KTM Duke 390, Royal Enfield Himalayan, and Husqvarna Vitpilen 401.

The Xtreme 440R will have an aggressive design and will be equipped with premium cycle parts. The motorcycle will also get a host of features, including a premium digital instrument cluster, LED headlight, and premium-looking alloy wheels.

According to a report, the Xtreme 440R has already been showcased to a select group of customers. The motorcycle was shown without any branding or product names so that the company could gauge the initial reaction.

The report also states that the Xtreme 440R will be manufactured at Hero MotoCorp’s plant in Manesar, India. The motorcycle is expected to be priced at around Rs 2 to 3 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hero MotoCorp has been working on three new platforms for its motorcycles. The first platform is a 210cc liquid-cooled engine that will debut on the Karizma XMR 210. The second platform is a 440cc air-cooled engine that will power the Harley-Davidson X440. The third platform is a 420cc liquid-cooled engine that will be used for a new line-up of Hero bikes.

The launch of the Xtreme 440R is part of Hero MotoCorp’s plans to expand its premium portfolio. The company is also working on a new 250cc motorcycle, which is expected to be launched in 2023.

With the launch of these new motorcycles, Hero MotoCorp is looking to take on the competition in the premium segment. The company is confident that its new products will be well-received by customers.
