Zomato Buys 10,000 Electric TVS Scooters – To Be Delivered In 2 Years

TVS Motor Company and Zomato, a food ordering and delivery platform, have announced a partnership to deploy 10,000 electric scooters for last-mile delivery. The first batch of 50 scooters was handed over to Zomato at an event in Hyderabad on June 28, 2023.

The partnership is part of TVS Motor’s commitment to green and sustainable mobility solutions. The company has stated that all vehicles under the partnership will have access to charging stations within the radius and will also receive smooth digital integration for more efficient delivery.

Zomato is also committed to 100% EV adoption by 2030. The company is the first food ordering and delivery platform to join Climate Group’s EV100 Campaign, an international non-profit organization set up to help bridge private companies and the government in shifting fleets towards the use of electric vehicles.
