Honda XL750 Transalp Now in India for Rs 11 Lakhs

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the XL750 Transalp in the Indian market, priced at an introductory rate of Rs 10,99,990 (ex-showroom, Gurugram). This premium adventure tourer is brought to India via the completely built-up (CBU) route from Japan and will be exclusively available for purchase at the BigWing dealerships.

Bookings are currently open for the first 100 customers in specific cities, including Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Indore, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata. Deliveries are set to commence in November.

The XL750 Transalp draws inspiration from the original 1980s Transalp and features a design that includes a compact headlamp, an integrated windscreen, and sizable tank shrouds for enhanced aerodynamics. The rear of the motorcycle has a rugged appearance, complete with an aluminum carrier and an LED lighting system. The bike is equipped with a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel with spokes, ensuring a comfortable and versatile riding experience across various terrains.

The lightweight steel diamond frame is designed to accommodate both short daily commutes and long adventure journeys. It will be available in two color options: Ross White and Matte Ballistic Black.

In terms of features, the XL750 Transalp is equipped with a 5.0-inch TFT panel that displays essential information, including the speedometer, tachometer, gear-position indicator, fuel gauge, consumption, riding modes, and engine parameters. This display is customizable to the rider’s preference and can be controlled through the screen or the switchgear on the left handlebar.

The adventure tourer also comes with a Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVCs), allowing riders to connect their smartphones to the motorcycle while in motion. This feature enables voice control for managing calls, messages, music, and navigation. Additionally, it includes safety features like an emergency stop signal function that activates hazard lights during abrupt braking and an automatic turn signal cancellation function.

The XL750 Transalp caters to adventure enthusiasts and riders seeking a versatile and feature-rich experience, making it a notable addition to the Indian motorcycle market.
