Toyota Innova Hycross Greets 2024 with Up to Rs 42,000 Increase

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has kicked off the new year with a series of price hikes across its model lineup. Effective from the beginning of January 2024, the popular Toyota Innova Hycross witnesses an increase in prices by up to Rs. 42,000. This move aligns with the brand’s strategy to navigate market dynamics and maintain competitiveness.

Affected Models

The price hikes extend to various Toyota models, including the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Innova Crysta, and the focus of this post, the Innova Hycross. While the base GX non-hybrid variants experience a relatively modest impact, the strong hybrid variants in the VX, VX (O), ZX, and ZX (O) trims bear a more substantial increase.

Details of Price Hike

Prospective buyers of the Innova Hycross, particularly those eyeing the premium and luxurious segments, are less likely to be deterred by the price increment. For taxi operators who often opt for the base G trim, Toyota has kept the price hike minimal, with a Rs. 10,000 increase for the base GX trim.

Discontinued Limited Edition

Toyota has discontinued the Limited Edition version of the Innova Hycross, which was based on the GX trim. The move streamlines the trim hierarchy to core levels – GX, VX, VX (O), ZX, and the top-spec ZX (O).

Unified Price Increment

Following the base GX trim, all variants across different trim levels witness a unified Rs. 42,000 price increment. This includes both 7-seater and 8-seater variants in the VX, VX (O), ZX, and ZX (O) trim levels. All these variants feature a sole strong hybrid powertrain (petrol + electric), coupled with an e-CVT.

Revised Ex-Showroom Prices

With the recent price revision, here are the updated ex-showroom prices for the Toyota Innova Hycross:

  • GX 7S (Non-Hybrid): Rs. 19.77 lakh (up from Rs. 19.67 lakh)
  • VX (Hybrid): Rs. 25.72 lakh (up from Rs. 25.3 lakh)
  • ZX (O) 8S (Hybrid): Rs. 30.68 lakh (up from Rs. 30.26 lakh)

Despite the price hike, the Toyota Innova Hycross continues to offer a compelling package, combining advanced hybrid technology, spacious interiors, and a host of features. The move reflects Toyota’s commitment to delivering quality vehicles while adapting to evolving market conditions.
