Triumph Daytona Moto2 765 Official Unveil on August 23

Triumph has confirmed August 23, 2019, as the official reveal date for the most anticipated, next-gen Daytona. The limited-edition production model of the motorcycle will be officially unveiled at a press conference at the GoPro British Grand Prix at Silverstone, England. Based on Triumph’s learning at Moto2, the limited edition model will be christened as Daytona Moto2 765. As per the reports, the motorcycle will have a limited run with only 765 production units, making it one of the most special motorcycles to be ever made. The all-new Triumph Daytona Moto2 765 will be specifically designed in two versions, one for the European and Asian markets and the second one for the US and Canadian markets. Both the motorcycles will be inspired by Moto2 inspired 765cc triple-cylinder engine that is capable of producing the highest power and torque coefficients ever offered by a 765cc machine. The limited-edition race paint scheme in addition to premium equipment will make the Moto2 edition one of the most powerful and stunning bikes ever made. The brand has claimed that the Daytona Moto2 765 will have a decreased weight when compared to the older Daytona in addition to having a much better power-to-weight ratio. As the 765 cc engine used on the Triumph Street Triple RS generates a maximum power of 121 HP, the Moto2 Daytona is expected to deliver a power output ranging between 130HP to 135HP. According to the reports, both the production-spec finished models of the Moto2 765 Daytona are expected to be revealed at Silverstone where the complete specifications of the motorcycle will be revealed. In addition to this, the Silverstone Parade lap over the race weekend will feature both the motorcycles ridden by two former world racing champions. One can expect the motorcycle to be launched with 5 riding modes namely: Road, Rain, Sport, Rider and Track, all exhibiting a superior electronics package. The recent spy shots of the motorcycle reveal top-spec Ohlins forks doing the suspension duties at the front while the rear of the motorcycle will be getting a monoshock absorber. The braking duties will be handled by Brembo Stylema radial callipers. The limited-edition Daytona Moto2 765 is expected to launch in March 2020 in the Indian market, though, the limited production will make the bike available to only a few lucky customers.
