Ducati has expanded its adventure friendly lineup with an all new 2017 Multistrada 950, sharing the engine with Ducati SuperSport and producing 113 HP of peak power. Popular by the name baby Multistrada, the 950 borrows design language from the Multistrada 1200 and 1200 Enduro. The motorcycle aims at riders with smaller budget but huge adventure plans for the future. The cost cutting seems obvious as the motorcycle uses dual sided swingarm and bit street focused chassis.
Ducati Multistrada 950 Revealed at EICMA 2016
While things may not sound good to some but the bike still comes with ride by wire technology, riding modes, traction control, ABS and a huge 20 liter fuel tank. The fully adjustable suspension as well as four accessory packs (Sport, Enduro, Touring and Urban) makes it still the best in its class. The price will definitely go down by a considerable margin while those who wish to stay away from too much of electronics like 1200 Enduro will enjoy the motorcycle more than others.
The motorcycle weighs just 0.5 kg less than the bigger sibling while it will go on sale in the US in January 2017. The Red model would cost $13,995 while the White comes at $14,195. It can even serve as one of the best products to be bought in India as the adventure loving community is growing at a considerable pace. Launch details for the Indian market are still unknown.
