KTM finally presented its much awaited twin cylinder motorcycle, the 790 Duke Concept at EICMA 2016. It is the first official unveiling of the bike, which has been spied many times at various locations. It was in news that a twin cylinder middleweight is in the works but the final confirmation would surely bring joy among the fans. The parallel twin engine with around 800cc displacement would be offered with riding modes and traction control, making it the most powerful and loaded option of its segment.

KTM claims that it will bring a next level of lightweight performance, which seems to be their biggest weapon in the middleweight section. It will be loaded with ride by wire technology, multiple riding modes, multiple level traction control and the first of its kind, MY Ride integration. Chances of a quick-shifter on the motorcycle is equal too.
The motorcycle is quiet far from production, making it definitely a 2018 year product. We can have a glimpse of the production version at the 2017 EICMA, along with a rumored 800cc Husqvarna adventure motorcycle, using the same frame and engine. It won’t be made in India like the 390 Duke and hence, gets the least amount of chances of its arrival on the Indian shores before 2019.
