Yamaha XSR900 was simply a next level MT-09 while this Abarth Limited Edition makes the bike even more special than ever. The retro inspired design now gets carbon fiber treatment and makes both the standard XSR900 and the Abarth Edition, one of their kind products. The Euro 4 norms brought an end to the similar themed XJR1300.
Yamaha XSR900 Abarth Limited Edition Revealed at EICMA 2016
The naked machine has a lot more to offer than its standard version. It uses carbon fiber front cowl, seat cover and a titanium Akrapovic exhaust, making this big bike weigh just 196 kg. The 847 cc, 3-cylinder engine is good for 113 BHP and the bike comes with great features like traction control, ABS and slipper clutch. The limited edition is available in battleship Grey shade and offers just 695 units for sale.
The first 95 are to be booked online while other 600 will be available with the dealers. The motorcycle is for those who love relaxed riding and only sometimes push it to the limits. It has been created in association with the legendary Abarth brand in order to pay the gratitude for the association of both brands in the MotoGP championship. It has no launch plans for India while India will soon get the updated MT-09 with twin headlights.
