Yamaha FZ25 is an impressive quarter liter street fighter that costs INR 1,19,335 in Delhi (ex-showroom). It was the base for creation of Fazer 25 and itself derived large number of components from earlier FZ models. Yamaha offers its flagship naked machine in Ballistic Blue, Knight Black and Warrior White.
FZ25 is presently the most successful model for its engine size, outselling KTM 250 Duke by a large margin and making space for itself in top selling higher capacity bikes of India.
The 249cc, single cylinder engine is oil cooled and fuel injected, producing 20.69 BHP at 8000 rpm and 20 Nm at 6000 rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox, claiming 0-100 kmph under 9 seconds and a top speed of 130+ kmph. Yamaha Fazer 25 is purely based on FZ25 and costs INR 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
