BMW G310R vs KTM Duke 390: KTM Duke 390 has been an unrivaled product for a long time. It was expected that BMW might change the scenario with the launch of G310R in India but it didn’t happen. The new model of KTM Duke 390 @ INR 2.39 lakh is a much better buy than the BMW G310R @ INR 2.99 Lakh (Ex-showroom).
KTM Duke 390 is powered by a 373.2cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine. This one is good for 43.5 HP and 37 Nm of torque. The numbers are massive when seen in comparison with BMW G310R (34 HP and 28 Nm). BMW G310R is slightly lighter but still, bridging this gap is impossible.
Those looking for sheer performance can go for 390 Duke without any second thought. BMW G310R claims just 143 kmph of top speed while Duke 390 can cross 167 kmph. Both bikes are available with dual channel ABS and front upside down forks. BMW G310R comes with slightly curved body design while KTM has made this Duke with sharp panels and higher than a usual rear seat.
