Jawa 300 vs UM Renegade Commando 300: Jawa 300 can safely be called the most happening 300cc product of the year 2018. The biggest shock was received at the UM end as they were already struggling to maintain three-digit sales number. The engine on Jawa motorcycle measures 293cc in displacement while Commando features a 279.5cc engine. The torque difference is huge among both as Jawa 300 offers 28 Nm of massive value. On the other hand, Commando 300 comes with 25 HP of max power and 23 Nm of torque.

Jawa 300

Jawa 300 comes with single front disc brake, featuring ABS on the same for added safety of the rider. UM Commando comes with single disc brake but presently, ABS is not available, not even as an option. The 6-speed gearbox of Jawa 300 makes it a better choice than most retro-modern cruisers of this segment. UM looks and feels more like a premium cruiser with fat tyres and low slung seat while Jawa 300 is more like an iconic vintage machine based on the design language of two-stroke, 250cc Jawa bike of the 1970s.

Jawa 300 was recently launched in India with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.64 lakh, while the Renegade Commando 300 is available for INR 1.82 lakh (ex-showroom). Here is the complete specification-wise comparison of both the cruiser motorcycles.
