KTM 390 Duke vs Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 (Quick Comparison): KTM 390 Duke serves as the base for Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 as both the bikes are using a powerful 373cc motor with several additions and subtractions based on the body type. KTM 390 Duke uses a streetfighter body style with sharp LED headlight, extended tank panels and raised rear seat that complements the front design. On the other hand, Husqvarna Vitpilen comes with cafe racer body style with spoke wheels, chopped rear section with a flat seat and all-black frame for an elegant presence. The headlight seen on Vitpilen is round and futuristic while exhaust is also different on the Husqvarna models.
KTM 390 Duke is priced at INR 2,43,955 while Husqvarna is expected to be priced around INR 2.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The premium placement of Vitpilen will help the brand save KTM sales or otherwise both the products will affect the sales of each other in India. Also, the launch of Husqvarna in India will result in local production for the country and improved exports from the Bajaj’s factory in Chakan. The difference in both the models can be seen in terms of weight as Husqvarna Vitpilen weighs 6 kg less in comparison to the already decent Duke 390. As per the latest details available, Bajaj will launch the Husqvarna bikes in India in 2020.
