Quick Comparison: Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 vs Bajaj Pulsar RS200
Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 vs Bajaj Pulsar RS200 (Quick Comparison): Suzuki has officially launched the Gixxer SF 250 in India with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.71 lakh. The full-faired sports bike has an indirect rival waiting straight on the road in the form of Bajaj Pulsar RS200. The engine displacement is different for both the bikes but still, the pricing for the new quarter-litre Suzuki model makes the fact sure that nobody will miss the RS200 from the rival list. Both the bikes have an ex-showroom price difference of around INR 30,000.
The flagship Pulsar claims 141 kph of top speed and thus, can easily take on motorcycles with higher displacement in a drag race. However, Suzuki has made the new Gixxer SF lighter than ever, making the Pulsar feel heavier on the paper too. The best part for the 200cc racer is its 24.5 HP of output that seems higher than any other sports bike except the KTM RC 200.
Gixxer SF 250 is using an oil-cooled 249cc engine, good for 26.5 HP and 22.6 Nm. The high torque guarantees smooth riding experience, further improved by the 6-speed gearbox. All other Gixxer models from the 155cc lineup are seen with a 5-speed gearbox. The SF 250 offers fuel injection and an estimated top speed of 150 kph. The mileage for Gixxer SF 250 and the Pulsar RS200 falls around 35-40 kmpl. Here is a quick comparison for both the full-faired motorcycles.
*Suzuki has not yet revealed the exact disc size for both the brakes.
