Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 vs Honda CBR250R (Quick Comparison): Suzuki’s all-new 250cc Gixxer SF is the newest entry into the quarter-litre segment with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.71 lakh. The recently launched motorcycle seems to be slightly overpriced as we were expecting it to get an ex-showroom price tag of around INR 1.50 lakh.
The most talked-about rival for the Gixxer SF 250 is the Honda CBR250R, with both bikes having an equal overall power output of 26.5 HP. The torque value is slightly different while the Gixxer SF 250 produces both the values at 500 rpm higher than the current-gen CBR250R.
Honda offers liquid cooling and fuel injection while SF 250 is available with oil cooler and fuel injection. The cost-cutting may be visible on the Suzuki motorcycle in terms of engine components while ABS used here is dual channel. Also, the lighting is LED and further saves power consumption on the motorcycle. Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 is lighter by 6 kg, helping the brand claim a powerful position in terms of power-to-weight ratio on the paper. Here is a quick comparison between the newly launched Gixxer SF 250 and the Honda CBR250R.
*Suzuki has not yet revealed the exact disc size for both the brakes.
