ParPin’s Garage recently restored a 1999 Rajdoot Electronic 175 and enhanced its visual parts with the use of bright colors on different components. This motorcycle uses a two stroke, 173cc engine that comes paired to a 3-speed gearbox. This factor makes it the most unique machine out of all other customizations witnessed till date. Being a member of Escort Group’s early lineup, it can be clearly called the younger brother of Rajdoot 350 aka RD350. Apart from their common parent brand for the Indian market, both have nothing to share at all.
This one is based on a Poland sourced SHL M11 while Japan based Yamaha was the source for Rajdoot 350. ParPin’s Garage first removed every single panel from the body and started working on restoring each one of them for the final product. The engine was buffed and a Royal Enfield sourced carburetor was used to get the perfect functioning. The Soviet style headlight was removed for this three element headlight that has a projector from Bajaj Pulsar 220 and twin LED lights. The tyres on use are Michelin Sirac 3.25-19 and 3.50-19 for front and rear respectively.
Rajdoot Electronic 175 has been finished in the same Gloss Black and Chrome combination as the stock unit. The difference that can clearly see is the use of Blue frame and Red chain cover on the motorcycle. The rear fender on the bike is even sourced from Royal Enfield Classic 350. ParPin’s Garage has finished the exhaust system in Chrome while its seat also gets a custom treatment. Rajdoot 175 gets a unique suspension setup and that has been completely restored and kept in stock position. This bike belongs to Mr. Parvez, the owner of ParPin’s Garage.
