Meet KTM RC 200 Matte Chrome Blue Edition: 200cc RC is the most impressive SuperSport motorcycle in its segment. KTM has priced the sprinter at INR 1,77,000 (e-showroom Delhi) and offers the 2018 variant in a new shade of Orange and White.
Chennai based ‘A-Wraps’ recently worked on the motorcycle and brought a Blue/Orange monster that looks perfect for the streets. The front fascia is dual tone and supports Matt Black and Blue wrap that gets partitioned by Orange highlights and projector wraparounds.
The transparent section of the windscreen is now completely opaque while clean side profile is a combination of Blue, Orange and White. The inner panel gets Orange finish while outer is finished in Blue on this RC200.
The White space seems to move through all three layers. The fuel tank is partially Blue while no changes have been made to the frame. This makes this typical RC200 unique among the Black/Orange and White/Orange RC bikes seen around the city.
KTM offers the RC200 with a powerful 199.5 cc, single cylinder engine producing 24.6 BHP at 10,000 rpm and 19.2 Nm at 8000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox while the motorcycle weighs 154 kg.
This makes it the lightest fully faired 200 cc motorcycle. KTM claims a top speed of 140 kmph. Premium components like USD forks, twin projector headlights and fully digital instrument console are standard on the motorcycle. It still comes without ABS in the Indian market.
