The top 10 best-selling motorcycles in the 250cc-500cc segment have a lot more to say than just numbers. The list screams Royal Enfield from the top points as the first 4 positions went into their side with huge and incomparable differences with the other bikes. The first position was bagged by RE Classic with 47,175 units while Bullet was second with 16,201 units. The third position goes to Thunderbird with 5568 units while the fourth was Himalayan with 859 units. The combined number of these four bikes is good enough to leave all others stressed for existence.
Yamaha scored the fifth position with quarter-liter FZ and Fazer model while KTM 250 Duke was good for the next position with 308 units. TVS Apache RR 310 gained a small portion in comparison to older numbers, posting 281 units in January 2019. KTM 390 series was good for 279 units while CBR250R got 189 buyers in the first month of 2019. Kawasaki Ninja 300 is the most expensive motorcycle on this top 10 list with 186 units in January 2019. The numbers posted by the last six motorcycles can improve with passing months and change in rider preferences.
Apart from the above-listed bikes, potential products like Dominar and R3 are scoring much less than the brands have expected from them. For Dominar, the wait for 2019 variant has left the buyers stranded in the middle
