The 250cc-500cc sales report is all about Royal Enfield in terms of volume. The first product is almost double in number when compared to the remaining products and the last one is merely visible among these high ranking products. Classic series from Royal Enfield is not able to gain the original numbers but still, the present number at 38,475 units is greater than many commuters of India. The second place was bagged by Bullet series with 14,702 units while Thunderbird came third with 4443 units in February 2019.
The combined number of these three products is 18-times more than the remaining number of 250cc-500cc products sold in the country. Yamaha FZ25 (Fazer included) posted 1188 units in the sales chart and broke the continuity that could have been maintained by the Himalayan with 1001 units. KTM 250 Duke was good for 343 units while Dominar posted 329 units during the same period. KTM 390 series, TVS Apache RR310 and CBR250R bagged the remaining three positions.
Kawasaki Ninja 300 posted 135 units while entire UM lineup was good for 90 units. The remaining three posted for the segment includes Mahindra Mojo (21 units), Yamaha R3 (20 units) and Kawasaki Ninja 400 (16 units). The number of units for Apache RR310 and 390 KTM Series has gone down from a respectable number while some products listed here were always falling in the slow-selling section.
