Alisha Abdullah, a female racer, has become the owner of the country’s first RS 660 unit. Abdullah made the announcement on her Instagram page. In terms of appearance, the Aprilia RS 660 borrows design ideas from the RSV4, which is easily recognised even from a long distance owing to its triple-headlamp configuration. The RS 660 has the same configuration but a sleeker overall look. It also has elegant LED headlights with cornering lights.

When it comes to performance, the new RS660 sports bike is powered by a 659cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine with a 270-degree firing sequence. This engine is capable of producing 100bhp of maximum power at 10,500rpm and 67Nm of max torque at 8,500rpm. Moreover, the motorbike has a slew of modern electronic features and rider aids, such as a six-axis IMU with three-level cornering ABS, traction control, adjustable wheelie control, and engine brake control.

In addition, the company has offered the RS 660 with various riding modes like Commute, Individual, Dynamic, Challenge and Time Attack which are accessible through the TFT dashboard.  The suspension system includes 41mm Kayaba USD forks with adjustable spring preload and rebound damping. At the back, there is a mono-shock that can be adjusted for rebound and preload. Braking duties are handled by dual 320mm discs at the front with four-piston Brembo radial callipers and a 220mm disc at the rear with two pistons from Brembo.
